Classic Papers (Pvt.) Ltd. is a fully owned and operated subsidiary of Expolanka Holdings. Classic Papers manufacture a range of products from paper and paper board products imported from prominent paper mills around the world.

Our production plant is conveniently located in Wellampitiya, with direct access to the port of Colombo. With over 27,000 sq.ft. of production area, warehousing and a container yard, our capacity is 3,000 MT/month. This allows Classic Papers to achieve the significant output required to meet customer orders from the paper and packaging industry.

Our team of skilled and experienced staff, who receive overseas training, provide a flawless service to our customers. To ensure as smooth a process as possible, Classic Papers has its own Shipping Department to handle all our imports and exports, with direct contacts with leading shipping companies in the island. This allows us to move our cargo speedily and efficiently to any part of the world.

Our paper converting business uses parent reels obtained from the US and Europe, which we then transform into the specifications of our major clients in Sri Lanka and abroad. These large reels of paper are converted by cutting into different sizes and coated when and where required, to produce various different products, packed and then dispatched to our buyers.

Our final export products are paper and paper boards of different types and kinds categorized by Grams per Square Meter, commonly known as GSM, and further categorized to Coated and Uncoated. The products are used for writing, printing, and manufacture of packaging for the pharmaceutical, cigarette, food, disposable tableware and many more. Our products for the domestic market are the same as those for our export market with additional items such as photocopying paper and specialised paper required by the Government of Sri Lanka and the private sector through tender.
